Oswaal Books Require Marketing Manager Based at Agra


We require experienced Marketing Manager with atleast 4 to 5 years of relevant experience based at Head office in Agra, U.P. This will be 100% office based job & no travelling will be a part of this profile.

Job Description

General Marketing

Develop a deep understanding of assigned disciplines through competitor research, campus visits, conventions, interactions with other internal divisions including editorial, production and sales, author care, and customer communication
Develop expertise in conducting market research and ensure that the findings are shared with the authorities and incorporated into sales and marketing strategies

Direct Marketing

Working closely with the Marketing Director to direct mail, whatsapp messages and email campaigns for assigned titles that are accurate, timely, strategic and within assigned budget.
Prepare and execute a social media plan for assigned titles/disciplines, as requested by Marketing Director.

Creation and Implementation of Marketing Plans

Under direct supervision of the Senior Marketing Manager, create and implement marketing plans for assigned titles in assigned disciplines/markets.
Provide significant input to support the creation and implementation of strategic annual discipline marketing plans, taking into account key product information, market dynamics, competitive landscape and create a schedule of marketing activities that will achieve sales goals.
Support the Marketing Director in planning and implementing pre-publication market development activities for assigned titles, including the co-ordination of regular cross-departmental team meetings both pre and post-publication titles.

Customer/Author Relations

Act as Oswaal Books representative when dealing with potential or existing customers and authors.
When communicating with customers and authors, take appropriate actions to ensure they have a positive experience with image of the company.
Serve as the point of communication for authors of assigned titles, keeping them updated on marketing efforts and plans.
Working closely with the Editorial Department.


Technical Skills:

a. Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Excel, Power-Point, MS-Office
b. Familiar with Microsoft Word Processor, Spreadsheet
c. Internet Applications

Office Time : 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM

Salary : INR 2.50 INR 5.50 Lacs P.A. (Appraisal will happen every 6 months)
